📄️ Introduction to the Advanced Scope
In the Advanced Scope of the mission, you will use SAP Cloud for Customer and SAP S/4HANA to enable the material availability scenario on a live system. Then, you will consume the live data from the SAP S/4HANA system into the CAP application you created in the Basic Scope of the mission. Finally, you will deploy the Material Availability OData service to SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry environment, to provide an additional "Vendor Available to Promise (ATP)" capability.
📄️ Integrate with SAP S/4HANA
In the Basic Scope, you ran the Material Availability dashboard in SAP Business Application Studio, using a connection to the SAP Business Accelerator Hub SAP S/4HANA Cloud sandbox environment. Using SAP S/4HANA Cloud for live connectivity is then just the straightforward task of updating your destination properties. If you are using an SAP S/4HANA Fully Activated Appliance from the SAP Cloud Appliance Library, or your own on-premise instance, there are additional steps required to establish live connectivity.
📄️ Update Material Availability Service to Consume Live Data from SAP S/4HANA
In this section, you will use the SAP S/4HANA system you configured in the previous step to consume live data from the Material Availability service. First, you will configure the connectivity from your SAP BTP subaccount which is subscribed to SAP Business Application Studio to the SAP S/4HANA system. Then you will consume this destination from the Material Availability service.
📄️ Deploy The Material Availability Service to SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry
In this section, you will deploy the Material Availability service from your CAP project to SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry.
